Body material of the sanitary valves can be either plastic or metal. The metal choices include bronze, brass, ductile iron, copper, stainless steel, or cast iron. The plastic choices usually include CPVC and PVC. Some of the common end connections generally include socket-weld, threaded, push on, lugged, mechanical joint, flanged, grooved end, and clamp.
